Salisbury Cathedral

From the outside

Inside the cathedral

The courtyard?

Stained glass

The bent pillar, due to the weight of the cathedral

Quiet time.

Arches and shadows

Relax, have a tea.

I must say having tea in an English garden relieves the stress from the work trip.

And this cafe is really nice; glass roof letting the sun in and a view of the cathedral.

Or if you choose to have some summer sun.

Lying outside, on the grasses, enjoying the summer sun, waiting the for guide for the tour inside the cathedral.

Stonehedge

This is one of the national heritage of England.

University of Southampton

This is Glen Eyre Hall of residence at University of Southampton. Brought my students on a 2 week study trip.

School of Electronics and Computer Science

This is what science is all about. This is the Tony Davis High Voltage Laboratory. The students are building High Voltage lifters!

The Hartley library. I understand that this is among the oldest building here. Part of the building was used as a hospital in World War I?!?!?

Now it is such a wonderful to study. Notice the lavender just outside the library?
